This Year So Far...

2012 has been good to me so far and also very challenging, but through it all I have remained true to myself and to my passion while at the same time remaining true to my priorities as wife and mother. Journey of the Damned is progressing at somewhat of a snail's pace mainly because I've had to take care of children that have been sick all year and finish out this semester at school. My full-time job is equally demanding and only allows for writing during the strangest of hours, so in the…See More

Magazine Reviews 2012

I plan to review local artistic venues such as operas, and other concerts in the San Francisco Bay Area in their magazine, so I will post copies of those reviews to my website for anyone interested in reading my latest projects. See More

I haven't written in awhile but I'm still here, still working quietly behind the scenes. Still growing as a  woman-wife-mother-writer. I won't lie about how hard this balance is or sugar coat the truth. Some people think they can do it all--if you're one of those people, more power to you. I'm not. I know my limits and have to set priorities daily. Some days I give…See More

Borders is Closing...The Future of the Printed Word

I was stunned to discover that almost all Borders book stores had closed in San Jose this year, but this morning on the news it was announced that every Borders store is closing. This of course is going to affect many rising authors like myself that had hopes of seeing our books on bookshelves. But now I'm starting to rethink that strategy. I don't know about anywhere else, but the libraries in Northern California are being threatened by our budget crisis which means many of them have had to…See More
